"The Secret History of Sex, Choice and Catholics" celebrates Pro Life but not Forced Birthing.

Catholics for Choice is an organization that is not well known to most Catholics.  It is a resource for people to begin to wrestle with the complexities of families agreeing to take pregnancy to term based on their own wisdom. As science discovers more about the beginnings of life, the stages of development, ancient cultures and herstory we have more information to inform our personal beliefs.  As women are breaking their long imposed silence people are in dialogue about their faith, mercy and what kind of world they want to create.

This video "The Secret History of Sex, Choice and Catholics" talks about the evolution of pro-choice in Catholic history.  One conversation discusses the framework of Catholic Doctrine and how it is created by finding common ground among theologians, clergy and laity.  It goes on to discuss how the Bishops have overridden the theologians and the laity to promote a forced birth agenda and how this in not in line with traditional Catholic thinking.

"It is a thoughtful presentation by Dan C. Maguire, STD Theologian and Professor of Ethics, Marquette University;  Rosemary Radford Ruether, PhD  Professor of Feminist Theology, Claremont Graduate School and Pacific School of Religion; Sheila Briggs, MA Theologian and Associate Professor of Religion and Gender Studies, University of Southern California; Anthony Padovano, PhD, STD Theologian and Distinguished Professor of Literature and Philosophy, Ramapo College of New Jersey; Kate Ott, PhD Assistant Professor of Christian Social Ethics, Drew University Theological School; Daniel A. Dombrowski, PhD Professor of Philosophy, Seattle University and Mary E. Hunt, PhD Theologian and Co-founder of the Women's Alliance for Theology, Ethics and Ritual (WATER)."
